Without provoking a lot of commentary on the safety of these, what is the going price for one nowadays? I have one which belonged to a great uncle which I have been hanging on to for sentimental reasons, but I'd like to free up some space for another piece.

I've never shot this rifle and don't plan to, but I know that he popped a bear with it in Saskatchewan at one point in time. He came out fine, but the bear did'nt, so I assume that it is safe. The bore is quite pristine and the rifle appears to have been re-blued/re-finished at some point. It has the set triggers with a checkered pistol grip and "6.5mm" stamped on the bbl. It is missing a couple of parts for the mag, the follower spring and spring housing.

I paid $50 for my latest; the one before that was $35 and looked it.

These are so ludicrously underpriced, especially for a great piece of Canadiana, that it is ridiculous. They SHOULD be running about 6 times this.

Carcano action is very strong, ammo is available now, it`s a family piece. Be better all around to take it out and shoot it.

Fun.
