eBay for scopes? S&B?

Has anyone ever ordered from eBay for an S&B scope? All CDN dealers have months & months of wait time for delivery for a ultra short 5-20x50 so wonder if eBay would be quicker?

There is nothing wrong with buying off eBay. Back when the Cdn dollar was good and you didn't need a mountain of paperwork to bring a scope into Canada from the U.S. I bought several high end Leupolds for really good prices. Just be sure to do your due diligence, research the seller and buy from a reputable seller. Use common sense too. If your buying one from China for $250, your probably gonna have a bad experience.

I would not recommend buying a High end optic off of EBay, if you do some research you will see that several people have had very poor experienced. It isn't worth the risk, buy from an authorized dealer. I have sent you a PM about some options that may exist
 
I bought several used scopes through eBay "back in the day". Memory might be a bit off, but I believe that when ITAR implemented, most American sellers can no longer send a scope to Canada.

You have to click the Canada button on the left side to show Canadian dealers( hardly any) 99.99% of dealers cant or won’t ship to Canada. Amazon .ca has some dealers that ship to canada . This is where I get my Weaver scopes
 
Not sure if the wait time would be better(says 1 month +) but I've bought a few Kahles from these guys with good results

As in a genuine Schmidt & Bender? Or a genuine Smith & Bander? :p

I bought a leupold scope about two years ago. I used Amazon.ca to find the model I wanted and in the top right hand corner of the computer screen the name of the Canadian business where the scope would be shipped from was there. I then googled the Canadian shops name found their website and contacted them directly outside of Amazon and got a much better deal on the scope than I could have gotten going through Amazon.
 
Finally after several years of humming & hawing I've bitten the bullet, pulled the trigger ... and Go Big Tactical is hooking me up with an S&B scope and not a 1000000000 years wait. Hahaha! Excited doesn't describe how I feel.
