Ebay Green Lasers: any good???

Hi all

Has anyone ever tryed those 15mw green lasers they are selling on ebay?
They look good and a good deal when compared to American stuff at like 500USD.

The first one is a POS judging by the adjustment screws. The second one looks better but who know as it is coming from Hong Kong :roll:

These are POS, the tube is poorly made and the adjustment screws will strip on the first attempt at adjustment. Internal workings are also crap. I would not pay 20 bucks for it.

I love my green lasers! But I had my unit custom built by www.z-bolt.com for around $135 (similar to the DPSS-30). It's a measured and verified 23mw green unit with 1.013 MRAD beam spread, which means at 800m in bright daylight, the dot is easily visable and has almost no gain in dot size.
I had a local machine shop make a mount for my laser to fit inside my airsoft AN/PEQ-2 unit, and it's held zero for about 50 rounds fired by my smith (I don't have an ATT yet for a true test). It does take a beating and keep on going!

I all most bought for that guy, and may still but I would like to hear first hand from someone that bought from him.

I bought from that guy a QD mount for a surefire flashlight. Had no problems.

I had found a review saying he was one of the best source on E-Bay for lasers, mounts etc.

Good communication, quick shipping, no bull####. My experience.

I want a green laser too and tempted by the cheapo ones. Don't know yet. I'll see.

The green beams from beamshot are ####. At 100 meters the dot is amost 2"!!!! My custom lasers are .38" at 100 yards! You can not see it in bright daylight at 200 meters cause the dot is so large and dispersed. Even at 100m it's a strain.

Do NOT get a green beam Beamshot. Anything is better then those.
