I have applied 3 times in the last 12 months for export approval for one of these Troy MCS stocks. I have crossed all the T's and jumped through all the hoops. The product would be purchased from a U.S. dealer I know who has a standing valid export liscence. I have only been trying to order ONE as an "civillian end user" ... meaning for me, for my personal non restricted firearm.... of which i have also supplied documents in which i have provided proof of ownership of a registered M14s, proof of firearms liscence, notarized letters claiming the item is for end user use and not for resale..... yadda yadda yadda..... I have been flattly denied..... in writing.... which states that due to current U.S. regulations, specifically state department export restrictions, this product is not permitted to be exported to a civillian end user. Military and LEO export applications must be accompanies by a requisition order through proper channels.
I can't see any canadian dealer getting past this, unless they are ordering for resale specifically to law enforcement and military personel only. They would be violating thier import/export agreements by selling to civillian end users... out the back door so to speak.
sucks don't it?
