We have been speaking with Sage and pretty sure we have something worked out.

We hope to start getting stocks in soon.

The previous importer seemed to be more interested in supplying Sage's less than lethal line to various police departments, than bringing in and selling rifle stocks. After speaking extensively with Sage at SHOT, I can say this is about to change. Don't be surprised to see more than one company importing and selling Sage stocks.

I got to handle one of the Sage stocks there "only" dealer is bringing in. He does not recieve them as collapsable and needs to have them machined down. For the amount of people I see wanting them hes kind of dropping the ball. Im sure more people will be dealing with sage as there seems to be a market for them up here.

First impressions....awesome stock, way lighter than I was expecting.

I've been working with Sage for over a year to get the EBRs into Canada. Between the collapsible stock export issues and the military orders they had to fill in 2009 (over 10000 units) the delay while fustrating is part of the business.

Sage assures me that they are about a month to a month and a half out as of last week.

As for the rails, I will be manufacturing new ones in Canada. The standard Sage rails give 6 positions. I hope to offer 7 - 8 positions.

The EBRs will also include a vertical fore-grip and the picatinny stripper clip adaptor for scope mount.

I am also bringing in the M1 Garand and Ruger Mini versions as well.

Once they land I will be contacting everyone on my notification list and pretty much every dealer coast to coast.

Not true. I started with Sage EBR stocks and later picked up their less lethal line. The hold-up has been the Civillian legal export issue with the US State Dept.
Also, I have a signed distribution contract with Sage. They haven't notified me about any changes.

Awesome, awesome, awesome news ab , thx for fillin us in. Many folks thirsty for sage product north of the 49.
Add me to your list please :D

Sage stock

Will we have the choice on Mod 0 and 1 collapsable stock or only the Californian model?

Thinking about the fixed stock on the XCR due to US export limitations.

We got troys in canada that take a collapseable , with selector cut out, stocks .... Why would the sage be any different.

So the restrictions must be on the folding stock and not the collapsing. Two years ago I heard it would be harder to get US adjustable AR stock... Probably that's solved.

A Sage with a "Fulton type" full lenght top rail that extends over the stripper clip... no plans on that? :D

There is an adaptor that locke onto the top rail and ectends backwards. It's going to be a expensive option though.

Also, I'm not bringing in the Califirnia model. Currently, I'm bringing in the twin steel rail type that has been undermachined to disallow adjustment.
The M4 stock types are pinned and epoxied in place to allow export making it a complete waste to bring in.

For those who want to mount an M4 stock on the EBR, I'm sure many enterprising machinists will build a solution in short order.

I think that the twin rail setup looks the best and it collapses into a much shorter unit.
