EC Green 12 g info, value

Kermodie, with your consent I would run it by the folks on doublegun bbs forum. Can't tell from the photos but is there significant cast off or on of the stock, or substantial drop at heel?
 
I have a vague memory of about 60 years ago, seeing a lead calculating attachment for a shotgun being advertised in Field and Stream or a similar magazine. Basically a circle on either side of a single barrel and you put the bird in the circle.

Way to go Londonshooter! A Gilberts Two Eyed Sight to prevent cross firing. From the 1880's, amazing that it stayed on the gun all these years. Now we know. The wooden device on the breech end was obviously home made, probably experimental and may not have been practical.

I have to correct myself; initially I thought that the wooden piece slid over the serrated ramp at the muzzle but now realize that the wood was at the breach end of the barrel
 
Gilbert also patented a type of wing mounted on the breech end of the rib for shooters with their dominant eye on the wrong side. It would block the left eye of a left eye dominate right handed shooter or the other way around.
