properly maintained your presses last a lifetime, and you can re-sell all of your hardware, so you can't really factor in your press cost at all unless you want count it as initial investment- once you're set up and running , only count your consumables- bullets, powder, primers- the only time i buy factory is when i get a new gun- to break it in- even the brass can be bought new as a component- if you want to start off with fresh rather than once fired
