Ed Brown Kobra Carry

prproulx: I am not sure what process Ed Brown uses for this blued finish....but they do an excellent job at it. I should have taken the photos outdoors because in natural light it looks even nicer than in these photos.Yeah it has a Commander length 4.25" barrel

Thanks for the comments guys...glad you like the pics

<Secondly, did you scratch this gun already!>>

Yep while cleaning it : ( Fortunately though it is barely visible normally...the flash/lighting used when I took the shoot makes it really stand out.

Oh well...

Got mine at BDW Canada ... as far as I could find they are the only dealer in Canada that has some in stock (could not post link due to forum rules...but just google it to find them and inventory pics)

I can only compare to about 6 or 7 other 1911s I have shot (Kimber, Para Ordnance, S&W, Taurus etc)....but it hands down is the best shooting .45 I have shot. The trigger is amazing...and I end up being far more accurate with it (even with a shorter barrel) than any other gun I have tried. Yeah...it is a real pleasure to shoot...but the problem is now it's hard for me to shoot my other pistols...I seem to be reaching for this one all the time :)

Thanks for making my decision between a Kimber, Knighthawk, and the Ed Brown Bobtail that much easier.
.......and the wait that much harder!

Very nice, congrats :)
I'm in the process of fitting Ed's parts on Spartan, giving me Memory Groove and ambi safety :D
Sear, disconnector, trigger and springs are already done :D
