Edge shooting gasses

I am assuming that you mean the RE edge??? If so on bright days, blue sky, or green back drop, I love the Color mag lenses. Darker days Vermilion (amber) against green back drop, yellow against any other back drop.

Depends on the background and light conditions. They say, that you should use the lightest colour lens that you can.

Yes maximizing the amount of light to your eye will make the target easier to pickup, but you have to balance that with it being too bright and making you squint.

I have blue eyes, which are typically more sensitive to bright light, so I have always favoured darker lenses, but I feel that it is a slight disadvantage.

One thing to keep in mind, especially if you have droopy eye lids, saggy brows or are older. Is to OPEN YOUR EYES WIDE. You will be surprised how much peripheral vision you gain, how thing are brighter and the target is easier to see.

Try it!

For colours in bright conditions I always like ranger bronze, In cloudy stuff depending on back ground it could be vermillion or yellow. But here is a hint, in bright conditions with a green background you can't beat purple and different darknesses of purple can work for a lot of situations, purple suppresses most colours save for very bright ones, like target orange!

I haven't even started to look into the cost or different types of glasses yet but could someone tell me what the cost of one of these kits are that you speak of?

An Edge kit with three sets of lenses, case, tools etc, starts at around $250 if you shop around, but one Edmonton dealer quoted me over $400.

I have the RE Falcons kit it comes with, yellow, HD (amber) and purple. I got them for $300 at Gagnon sports and love them! I tried the edges and could see to much of the post in the middle so I went with the falcons and I don't regret it. I tried the Pilla Outlaw X7's and they are incredable, I'd say clarity is about the same as my falcons, maybe slightly better but they are so light you forget they are on within a minute of putting them on and don't move at all without squeezing your head, but they are a $800 pair of glasses! If you have the cash go with the Pilla's, But I love my Falcons and they are a good price as well.

You can buy randolph rangers directly from randolph, helps if you use a us post box or parcel holding service, or just take a little ding by the broker and get what you want.

If you check out randolph engineering's website, I believe they list canadian retailers.

I have used the Decot's for many years and recently switched to the Pillas ... huge difference.
