(edited title) Museum's inventory: FNC, Canada trials.

I had one for a while quite accurate and easy to use. I don't remember if I sold or traded it off.
It was my second choice in 5.56 black rifles behind the AR-180, and Daewoo K2.
I would love to have another one I would seriously think about swapping my 12-3, BM-59 for one.

I used 106 in later trials in Gagetown, 1987. Loved it, the pins had been fixed by then, but it was still a cold weather pig. The receiver was more complicated than the FNC1 but the upper stripped exactly the same way. I liked it and wrote on my form that it should be Canuckized for cold weather. We had models with fixed and para stocks, there was also different barrel lengths. Alot of guys wanted wood!

Wasn't the FNC standard issue to the Belgian Army for awhile? I've wanted one ever since I first saw HEAT. Stupid nonsense laws.

They are, and will be replaced by SCAR-L very soon. The only other 2 countries that have FNC licensed are Sweden and Malaysia.

They are interesting, but I am glad C7 was chosen.
