Edm Clinic Was Awesome!!!

Ditto.
Thanks to Hungry who makes these trips to pass on his knowledge. And to Sosa for being what amounted to the "Right hand man". (Pizza was awesome as well)
I came away from that with a pile of info. I have your DVDs Hungry, but being there live is sooo much better. You can't ask questions for a clarification to a DVD.
Best $45 I spent in a while.

When I went out today to test fire after the tweaks, I was honestly not looking forward to firing my M-14 as I was brutalized by the last experience which barely got the 5 initial bench rested shots I took onto a 8 1/2 x 11 piece of paper at 25 yards. Today, at 50 yards standing freehand my first 5 were within 5 to 6 inches with my first shot being a massive flinch. After the first shot it was, "HEYYY!!!!...this is WAYYYY better!" :D:D And I immediately relaxed and enjoyed the shooting.
....Back inside to get a second box of ammo, and the s#!t eating grin only got bigger.
Now I can concentrate on getting better by relaxing and getting rid of the slight flinch.
Thanks again to all who helped set this up.

I'm glad to hear it went well.

M14 Clinic- $35
Ammo, Gas, Money for parts- $100

Paying $35 for something that could easily cost $200 and saving a part of your body from falling off in the process- priceless

I got a few good tweaks out of the session.
It was fun lapping the trigger group while walking around talking with everyone and watching all the action. It was great, drill press, chop saw, welders all going at the same time. Changed out barrels, tightened op-rod guides (I got quite a bit of experience in that today), tightened gas actions, shimming and the list keeps going.

Great to have met you all and I was there when Rick65Cat did his shoot and it was a large grin! Jay T I would like the picture that you took today, if it is possible.

Many thanks to Sosa for the putting this all together, it was very much appreciated and thanks to Sosa's wife for bringing the pizza, THANKS!!

Very very great way to spend a Saturday... couldn't be better :)

Thanks again to Hungry and Sosa! It's always refreshing to get firsthand experience knowledge passed on so generously to newbies like myself. Thanks a ton guys!

Massive props to Hungry and Sosa from my wife and I. looks like my rifle is shooting better already (I'll know once I get some proper sights on it, or better still a SCOPE) and I'm already looking for a new Op-rod spring guide. Looking forward to the next one already.

Many thanks to Hungry, for another great clinic.
And special thanks to Sosa, who really went above and beyond, meaning he spent some money and allot of time and resources to make sure we had a great day.
He even had his wife deliver lunch, thanks Sosa's wife!!.
And last but not least, thanks to all the attendees!!!
The best part about these clinics is meeting the guys; seeing what they are doing, how they solve problems we all tackle, and lots of times you say to yourself, why didn't I think of that??
If our sport is to survive and hopefully flourish!!!!!!
These get togethers are a must in my onion!!!!!!!!!!!!
wcmd;)

Was well worth the drive from Fort St. John. Got to meet some great guys and learned an amazing amount about my 'Rinco.

If you own an M14/M1A//M305 guy and haven't been to one of Hungry's clinics, you're missing out.

Not to mention, your #### will probably fall off! :runaway:

Everyone that has a m14s should go at least once. With so many different levels of knowledge and build ups it great.Lots of hands on and you get to see what others have added to make it their Norc and try it out. All age groups were there as well which is nice.Later.Neighbor lady has french toast on this morning.MMMMM good

To all the attendees of the clinic. I have a few pics of the welfare tools Hungry showed us. If anyone wants copies of them PM me with your email addy and I will send the whole folder to you. It may include a quick vid of some crazy guy rapid firing his norc?!?!? Don't know who that could be?

Once again, an outstanding clinic and a HUGE thanks to Sosa, Hey You, Mrs. Sosa for the za. Let's not forget Big Tex who graciously gave up his time to weld and tweak for others before doing his own tweaking.

You braggin' again Jay T? Good you deserve it.Tex was a great help. Thanks man. And Tex how's the shoulder doing?Hey guys he was shooting with a separated shoulder.Tex: your too tough to work for Milarm. Thanks again to all the movers and shakers for getting Hungry out west for our benefit. Maybe next time we can get him out to the real west, and no not the wet coast.Later.
