Edmonton area gun club hours

I might make it down to the Edmonton area this weekend. Does anyone know if any clubs for the shotgun sports would be open? Preferably trap, but anything would do. Thanks.

If your a member of Sherwood Park F & G, there is no scheduled trap until early spring. The club "thrower" is out for your own clays. Quite a few people, including me shoot in the cold and snow. For additional information you can call the club chairman for shotgun Les Berry at 780-464-5678. Tofield Trap as well I believe does not start until spring as well (ask Les) he may direct you better than I.

Thanks M77. I'm from out of town and not a member of any Edmonton area clubs. Man, do I ever miss Strathcona. How about in the Red Deer area, does anyone know of something around there?

If you keep working south, try Calgary Firearms Center. Open Wednesday to Sunday after noon.
