Hi all,
I'd like to find a good club local to Edmonton (I'm on the southside) that shoots skeet and trap regularly in the spring/summer. My research hasn't returned me a definitive "best" answer. I'm used to a relaxed and experienced group, $4 a round for (25) clays. Not excited by high-falutin snobbery (I use a pump-action.) Always looking for tips.

Where do the real shooters go?

Thanks,
VI

For ATA trap there is the Edmonton gun club at the International Airport. Relaxed crew, but they only shoot on Wednesdays.

For everything else there is Beaverhill Sporting Clays. The place is Great, but you can forget about $4.00 per round. You buy 1,000 rounds at a time, get a key and you can shoot whenever you want.

I believe the last time I shot at the edmonton club it was $7.25 for a round and that was more than 2 years ago. They have a skeet field there but I've never seen it in use. FS
