I hate living in the middle of no where but then again where else can u march in full uniform and be armed and no one seems to care damn double edged sword..

Are these events Credit Card Compatible if u visit? or cash only for purchases?

Some vendors are set up to take credit cards. However most usually deal in cash. Usually there is a cash machine on site, but in the event there isn't, there is a Super Store across the street.

Was there today. Very please especially coming from the milsurp desert that is Winnipeg. My friend got a great deal on a Steyr Radom mag. I picked up a fake Fallschirmjäger knife for a buddy. Saw some interesting rifles and good deals. Going back tomorrow.

I'm not going to be able to make it this year, which is too bad as I always walk out with something from that show happy with my purchase.

Meh, came home with the same amount of cash I left with. The lack of parking was a kicker, I only wish this show was in a bigger venue, makes it hard to get a good look at some items. Not as many 1871/84s as last year, I wonder where they all went.

Do you really think the vendors have an unlimited supply of such things because they bring them to one show??? They have likely gone to twenty other shows this year as well. With stuff like that, either buy it when you get the chance or forget about seeing them again for a long time, if ever.

Shoppers beware...I was at the gunShow today picking up few pounds of gun powder, everything was cool until I asked the female Vendor for her GST number and she told me what GST number???:rolleyes: and I asked her, why are you charging people GST on their purchases when you don't have a register GST number??? WTF?! I am getting sick of this kind a BS, What a scammer!.

I was there when the doors opened yesterday. Three vendors were selling the Mossberg Mini (.410) for $460, and at Cabelas they are $319. I left the show after an hour only out $7 bucks for an entry fee. No bulk ammo, and even the guys that were selling ammo were charging $2 more per box of 30-30 and 270 for old tattered boxes of misc ammo than brand new factory loads.

Not a big deal if you couldn't make in in MHO

Well I am happy with my purchase - a surplus new CF gortex bib for $90. My friend bought a non VOPO K43. He thought it was a great deal plus he got a Radom mag for half the going price. If you know what to look for and what are reasonable prices then there were deals to be had. And if you don't like the prices - don't buy. Its as simple as that.

I handled two Hungarian Gew.98/40s. I never saw one in the flesh before.

I had never seen so many in one show, all at insane high prices. I could have thrown a sarcastic smiley behind my comment, guess I forgot. There seems to be a glut of overpriced items at gunshows each year, last year the 71/84s in Edmonton, this year, hugely overpriced MNs, 500$ for Hungarian 44?? I didn't need a 800-1200$ 81/74 last year, but they were good for a chuckle, so I left them. Hence my bemusement that they seemed to have not made it this year. (BTW that was mainly cut down ones at that)

Gotta say the Hungarian 43 really caught my eye, and if by some miracle it had been a 35 I would have dropped the eye-watering 1200$s, but it was only a cheesy 43 :(
