Educate me on AR's......

I generally live by the rule "Nothing Chinese unless it's in a schoolgirl outfit". :D Considered a Nork, but there's a lot of things I'd want to upgrade and I've heard of stupid little things failing like pins and such. Also the upper to lower fit looks horrible.....[

I've heard your not schoolgirl worthy...what makes you think you can handle a Nork? They work fine if you know how what to do with them

So the time has come where I think I need to add an AR to my collection. I've already got a CZ 858 and a Robinson Arms XCR so an AR seems the next logical step. Keep in mind I know lots about guns, but virtually nothing about AR's. Now my biggest issue is that funds are a little tight right now so really high end AR's are not an option for me. I've looked at a few, however anything reasonably priced seems to be in a longer barrel, or a Norinco. I'd like a 10.5" or 12.5" barrel, flat top upper, needs to be reliable, well built and capable of decent accuracy.... Is MOA too much to ask? I'd love to go piston driven, but it seems there aren't many affordable piston AR there.... So what do you guys recommend?

Build it and you will come!! (insert god like voice here), you should take a crack at building your own, it's a little bit cheaper (well, it can be....) and it's fun! You'll learn tons too. MOA is not to much to ask either. You should consult the EE, every once in a while you'll find some decent stuff on there, just be wary the EE is a fickle beast and seller's on there can be out to lunch a lot of the time, trying to recover cash on misguided purchases etc, so do your homework or you'll pay to much.
