Educate me on XP-100

I wanted one for a while now so I bought one. Paid too much, over $1000 tax in. It is 7mmbr but I already have that calibre. I have another gun in 7mmbr so time I got around to loading up some rounds and getting to the range.

This gun has a synthetic stock. I think I will put a wood stock on it. They are out there. I am left handed so if possible I would go ambi or leftie.

This gun has iron sights so I might look for a scope mount for it.

So what do I need to know about my XP-100?

XP-100 S/Shot center grip pistols have a couple quirks-

OEM Rem stocks were brown zytel(sp) plastic w/ a few models in the late 90's having a laminate or walnut stock depending on caliber.

The counterweight w/ torsion spring/cross pin in the stock is not required if stock inlet/bedding is correct & trigger is adjusted correctly.

The 7mmBR pistol barrel should have 2 front sight location options.
