Hi everyone, I'm pretty new in the gun game but quit active... I've been shooting steady for a year and now own a handgun and an AR. Shooting my AR is fun as hell but thinking of getting her a scope. Lol. But yet I have no clue what to look for, I would like to hit at 100-200 yards and at the same time close quarters for competition. I was at my club/store looking through some scopes but what I've come to notice is that they have a few brands. The same with my other gun store but other brands, sure you ask them why don't they carry Burris for example and they say blah blah blah...
My main thing is I'm looking for something reliable for her, something not to expensive. Willing to spend 500 and please tell me is that to cheep for a quality scope that will last... Please help and another thing that is important is one that is easy to operate and not made in china.

look at something Vortex, life time warranty, great quality and options for the dollars spent. 3-9 or 2.5-10x44 Viper HS would work great on your rig. don't forget the mounts you will want to use.
