Go ahead and buy them for that then, I will stick with our friends on the top of the page,even ctc are reasonably priced! I guess cabelas, being a U.S. outfit, want to charge the going U.S. prices! i can buy 2 at tradeex for that price!

You must be joking. I live in Alberta, and the only people I hear say clip are non guns guys who get their firearms knowledge from call of duty. Everybody I know who owns guns calls it a magazine. As that is what its name is

I think most of you are behind the times. Russian SKS prices are going up ever so slowly until the final batch arrives. They will reach Yugo M59 prices by the end of summer. Ask the guys at Westrifle as it seems they are due for one last batch, and and that is it. There were only 2 million made remember, and in arms numbers that is low.
Laugh it up, Chinese will be your only choice very soon. And those guys who foolishly collected SKS45s are going to double their money.

$1200 SKS at Landsborough auction ($1050 price and 15% commission, not including tax). Black plastic can be a good investment. For about the same money, the buyer could have had an AR15.

That's so so sad! I had to stop looking at the final sale prices. Just made me feel bad for the people who got caught up in some of those prices. And to think untop of that price he paid he had to pay an addition 150 dollars. Wait till he finds out for twice the commission price he could have just bought on here. Maybe when he finds out he will use that box of ammo that came with it to shoot himself (joke)

I bought a 1950 original all #s matching unrefurb from weimajack for just over 300.00 with tax and shipping.I am happy with the gun. it was what I wanted so I bought it.Paid too much?Maybe a little but I am fine with that.

I bought a '52 #'s matching non-refurb last summer from Chemist for the same amount. I got it and love it, I don't think I paid too much for an unfired gun, I plan to keep this one unfired and buy a norc to have fun with.
Now thats a different animal altogether, you got avery nice rifle unrefurb, as far as I am concerned, that rifle would be worth twice as much! Most sks are somewhat collectable for their history even if they are refurbed, some would say also because they may have seen action! But unissued, unrefurb in excellent condition I don't think you did bad at all and as others are saying, hold onto it for ten years when there are no more on the market.$300 will be in the back mirror! Just dont shoot that one, buy a refurb or Chineese for plinking and keep that museum piece as an investment!

I am not sure why a couple of people on here are saying LOCKED, does this mean we are discussing some forbidden subject? I cannot see why anyone would lock a thread commenting on prices of goods? In my mind that would border on freedom supression, this site is the last place I would expect to see this! Hopefully the people who have been put in charge/ power of this site will use that power sparingly and with discretion!
