EE prices and current demand

High end stuff sell for the asking price and sell fast, antiques also sell well.

Depends. That Colt SCG you had listed took quite some time. Harry Callahan’s MR73 is still there which I find very surprising.

P7’s have gone insane and they aren’t even a very good gun (cue the uproar). They’re very unique from an engineering standpoint and they’re built well.....but that’s it. That said, I wish I had kept mine just for the current values.

I’ve noticed some decent collectible stuff come up all summer. Stuff that you rarely ever see.

I think it’s a factor of people trying to capitalize on the peak of our hobbies numbers before Bill C71 slows down the numbers of new people getting involved. Also any new Liberal legislation that may come... Given the media anti gun coverage recently, it will be a long time before any PC government can feel they are in a strong enough position to implement new common sense gun controls even if they have a majority Govt. With that in mind I think people are simply trying to cash out on their higher priced collectibles and ride the wave the next time.

I’m just trying to cash out to buy more Pardini’s.....and maybe an MR32 Match.......and a new 1911 for Bullseye.......and more reloading gear. A genuine Colt SAA would be nice too. And now that I think of it, SAA’s probably shouldn’t be bought in singles....

It’s an affliction.

I think it is a combo of the economy and people being pansies about pistols becoming prohib. I have had a heck of a time selling some things lately, and they are a screaming deal, so I suspect it is the economy more than anything.

Now I want a Norc 45 and a Gunsite Scout.... and a 1000 pc puzzle lol.

The booming oil economy might have been fueling a lot of purchases in previous years...... it does seem like a buyers market right now.

I find the asking price of many posts are laughable. Guys think they can recover all if there initial purchase plus tack in the cost of the ammo sent down the barrel! I am not going to buy your used gun to save five or ten percent. There are deals but many sellers are out to lunch.

That said, I just sold a Shadow in under 12h but it was priced under any other by a hundred bucks or more due to general use/cosmetics.

I believe that many if not most of the asking prices on the 12(6) EE are highly inflated. There appears to be no happy ending for prohibited class firearms. The Liberals will not touch Bill C68 classifications, and the Harper conservatives-in-name-only had six years (6) in majority government to change/repeal this attrocious bill. The new guy, Andrew Scheer is just the new "Tim Hudak."

The firearms prohibited class is doomed.
