Hey everybody, I’m new to THIS firearm website forums and this is the only one where EE is locked. I have gone through the process of being able to enter the EE but everything is still locked. It has been over 14 hrs since I went through the process and I was wondering, do I have to wait longer? Or is it just under construction, Am I not entering it properly etc?

Example I click on EE shotguns, click want to buy shotguns, and I get a post saying no new posts in this forum, but on the side it says 201 threads 281 posts. Why am I not able to see any of these threads? Why is it still locked for me?

help me out please! Positive or negative criticism doesn’t matter, as long as I can figure out to get in there eventually is all that matters!

You'll get in eventually. Doesn't happen overnight.... ;)

NAA.

Ok, found out. I've subscribe and now I can read the posts on EE forum but can't post a new thread, neither to answer at some posts. There are two waiting times??? One for getting permission to the forum and one to get permission to post ? Or I'm doing something wrong.
Thanx in advance for answers.

Thank you sir.
Now another few questions:
1. what if I want to sell something ? how can I open a thread if I cannot post ?
2. why the guys are keep posting BTT (back to top) ? what that means ?
3. what means "bump" ?
can you translate theese things for me please ?

You can never reply to posts that aren't yours.

1. If you have access, find the appropriate forum, go into it, and click 'new thread' on the top.
2. BTT - Back to the Top - you can only 'bump' your post back up every week.
3. See number 2. :)

Sorry sir but I do not understand. Why they keep posting BTT ? What for ? It is mandatory ? And really what for is "back to top" a lot of times ? Can you translate for me please, with other words?
Then "bump" .... what that means ? It is mandatory to "bump" ? (whatever bump means)
Sorry for questions but this is the first forum where I've met theese terms.

Posts are displayed chronologically - ie: new posts are at the top, and any time something is added to your post, it heads back to the top of the list. Over time (a week) your post gets bumped down onto page 2/3/4 etc, making it less likely to be seen by a potential buyer.

A 'bump' or 'BTT' moves it back to the top, where more people will see it. It's not manditory, but if you want it to sell, it's a good idea to bump it back up. Make sense?

Finally !!!
Thank you very much sir.
Respect !

There is a first time for everything. This was my first time learning the habits and rules here.

Thanx again !

Just make sure you don't Bump, or BTT before 7 days, or your fingers will explode all over your keyboard. :p

Be sure to "read" and "understand" the EE rules before you post, or bump your ad.
