Well the EESA IPSC crew met quickly tonight at our monthly Level 1 match and put our minds together for our 2010 schedule.

I must say that I am pretty pumped about it. I have to clear it with the General Membership at the end of the month to secure the ranges but here is what we are looking at.

Jan, Feb and March a repeat of the Polish Nordic Postal Matches (assuming they are going to be held again)

Feb a return to the Blizzard Beach Bash Indoor Level II match.

April Handgun Portion of 3 gun Grand Tournament.
May Shotgun Portion of 3 gun Grand Tournament.
May Rifle Portion of 3 gun Grand Tournament.

September 5th annual EESA IPSC Charity Match Level III match. This year the monies raised will be directed (pending approval) to the Canadian Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

That plus our monthly Level 1 matches should more than keep us busy.

Oh Boy!!! EESA in the snow - haven't done that yet. Sign me up for the entire GT.

Snow? No that is the February Level II match. Blizzard Beach Bash.

The idea is we will prep two sets of stages both indoor and outdoor. Depending on the weather we can do the match indoors or outdoors.

I am trying to find a club to hold one at.

I cannot do my next one at EESA according to the rules of becoming an instructor.,

In no way intentioning to Hijack this thread, what is the theory behind this rule, seems a little strange......don't you have to have another instructor watch over the course? So why would it matter where it is taught?

I need a Master instructor to review my teaching. Not sure what the rule is there for.........but it is.

3 Gun Shotgun Portion April 30th, May 1st

I will be leaning heavily on other club R/Os and CROs for help on this one......... Be warned!! LOL!

Is the date for rifle portion correct?

Is the date for rifle portion correct?

Actually yes and no........

The 14th is the date that the worker bees etc will be shooting.
The 15th is for general shooting.

So the match technically starts on the 14th.

That said I will ammend the original to make it clearer..........

I am in for blizzard beach, 3-gun and charity match. I haven't seen anything on ipsc-ont for signup - so Please color me in and let us all know how to confirm our entries. All I can say is, I have never had a bad time (bad scores - yes. bad weather - sure) at EESA, so I want to attend encore.

Storm what is required to shoot the shotgun portion? Besides a shot gun that is?

Would be doing it was a mag fed so what is the mag round count?

Well beside a shotgun you will need slugs, and birdshot as well as perhaps some buckshot.

We do not have a round count as of yet. Look for it in March or so when we have the Feb Level II out of the way.

You need something to carry your shells/mags of course. I have seen bandoliers and vests but also beaver lumber nail pouches for that matter.

As to mags? Well the highest round count you should expect would be around 30 or so for a stage. Even that is rare.

I have seen people shoot with OU shotguns and have a riot.
