Well.................today was a MESS!!

The weather was great.

The shooters were TERRIFIC!!

EESA well we pretty much sucked ass. We did not have NEAR the turnout of EESA IPSC members to help with this match! As such we were DELAYED beyond hope!! The 8 EESA members who did show up ( including our only 4 Range officers) were simply out paced by the shooters.

I extend the appologies from EESA to those stalwart individuals that spent litterally the DAY with us!!

Mind you from what I saw the shooting was pretty good. ( just not smooth enough on our part).

Unless the EESA IPSC squad can pull their act together this will be the last EESA L2 Three gun match we hold with me as match director that much is certain.

There were some high points however.

One did not get on video was Mike D doing a hot footed dance on Stage 2 of the shotgun match.

I am DYING to see the sad...........but from the sounds of it FUNNY AS HELL DQ of the day. A full body FACE AND BODY MUD PLANT!!

Anyway...........the Level II School Fundraiser should still be a go in September but I am going to have to pull HEAVILY From other clubs for officials!!

Good match Storm....take a deep breath.

I checked my insurance...riding on the back of an ATV with you driving...is covered.....:p

Some jack off blocked in my trailer....I can't get it until morning.  (The missus is doubly pissed seeing as she let me stay longer to help.)
I might as well have finished scoring/patching the last couple of hours.

Sorry I can't be there tomorrow. There was some really nice shooting to watch and I picked up a couple of tips from BBB on IA's and Stoppages with an AR.

Hope it goes better tomorrow.

Damned if I remember his CGN name!!!!!

Anyway.......tomorrow should be a GREAT DAY!!

Just a few squads...........we should have enough manpower to make it a wonderful day.

Hell I might even get to shoot!!!

I think the Videographer was with Omen???

I only saw him after the "incident" if he was half as muddy as his AR he was PLENTY muddy!!

Marksman was taking the video, Martian is the unfortunate who tried using his shorty AR-15 as a cane to try and break the slide and fall into the mud... I was on the squad (we're all friends), but I think I had just shot, so I was walking back to leave Quigley's Storm in the rack. I missed the event, just saw the aftermatch... Good thing he wasn't wearing a t-shirts, haha ;)

I got some video and stills, but I missed the mudd slide. I will upload them to photobucket in the morning and post the link here. Big thanks to all involved. I think I picked a pretty good match for my qualifier. Things got a bit backed up, but the stages were great, and a great big thanks to Simon for loaning me his mags to shoot the AR stages.

really was alot of fun, i must remmber never to borrow 5rd mags off people that say "sure they work 100% "
I was very pi**ed off at the longgun stage as i never get jams with my ar15
one stage it took me 10 mags to do 12 targets and i forgot to shoot 3 of them!!!!!!!!!!!.
Shotgun stage was very cool, loved it
Same for the pistol stages realy injoyed that alot, for soem good pics and vids of me shooting for a change, which is fgood , like to see what i,m doing right.
I allmost look like i know what i,m doing now :)

When they say "sure they work 100% "

They are talking about their guns and the results may vary in YOUR'S!

You have no one to blame but yourself.

As far as using 10 mags on 12 targets - learn to shoot.

RePete.

F U old man :)
yer i know, sold about $5k worh of stuff off last week to buy a house so i guessi should of kept a few more 5rd mags.
oww well i got to do some good drills with the ar15

I had a blast & enjoyed seeing some of the boys.
I have a couple of pics and videos to post, will do tomorrow.
i have one of BBB shoot'n & throwing mags away.
I have a habit of forgetting to use the camera more when I bring for that specific reason.
I smoked stage 4 in handgun, but have no video proof :)

Thanx to the guys for lending me the AR mags, as mine would have jammed on me all day, and I went the day with no malfunctions on any of the guns, unlike Oct.'s 3 gun last year. which caused me last place in rifle :(

Storm, yah the match was delayed big time, but how I know that I had a great time is, that even after being a bit pissed that I always have mikes when I shoot at EESA, is that I woke up today excited about the shoot'n yesterday & went looking for my sitrep to see if there are any matches to go shoot today. I still had the itch this morning :) :)

Thanx again for a great match !! Hope that you do set up more 3 gun matches.
oH, ya,I got atleast one of my 200 yard shots, according to Storm, I'm a real man :)

well worked out why the ar15 would not work.
striped and cleaned the gun tonight and the gas key was allmost falling off.
I guess 15k of 223 will do that.
still have to retest the 5rd mags i used to see if that was it as well.

You should have staked it properly!

And I'm not old, just older than you!

It was definitely a good match... Shot on a great squad with BBB, Colt45 and guessing Gailamir as the pictures he posted were from our squad.

Mistake 1 - Not shooting my Storm... Opted for my AR instead.
Mistake 2 - Loaning my Storm to someone on my same squad and proceeding to watch them kick my butt in the rifle stage. Even on the 200m shot...

I know a lot of guys knock the Storm but yesterday for me definitely proved that it is the best choice for IPSC three gun...

Again it was a great match and had a good time. Thanks Storm.
