Well the berm for the EESA 45 m range went up on Monday and Tuesday.

I will arrange for inspection to see if we can actually get 45 m at the current heights or have to reduce it to a 25 m range pending more fill.

It is an ABSOLUTE MUD PIT! I got stuck several times and lost my boots twice.

But it looks MARVELOUS! absolutely MARVELOUS!

That means that with some work and that range in place we now can have up to 8 ranges in operation (along with some other plans I have in place). For IPSC, IDPA, USPSA,Multigun matches.

We are talking matches with up to 20 stages.

I have some pics on my black berry that I will have to download at some time.

We still need to grade the range floor (hopefully free up some more berm manterial) but it is well on the way.

I doubt we till seed the area till spring however.

Did I mention the mud??

That is awesome. Impromptu matches will be that much easier, especially with a trailer out there.

No reason why we can't have monthly IDPA matches once the weather turns nice, and monthly multigun stuff as well.

I just gotta sell this house and move closer!

Not IPSC matches........that is unfair to the ROs in terms of points.

Perhaps someone will step up and take over and we can host some big IPSC matches. But outlaw and multigun?

ZOMBIES beware!!

I was going by the part in bold above and mostly pulling your chain.

Good for you and EESA for adding more ranges.

The matches at EESA are awesome and I would work them without worrying about RO points.

Call it "Action Pistol" or whatever you want, use the IPSC rules if they suit you, or maybe there is something very similar that would be just as easy to use and that many competitors are familiar with...

Have you thought about CQB style? We had a great season this year at Borden, it is rifle + handgun, 35 yards down to 10 yards, sort of a moving bullseye line.

Of course Zombie matches are always good too.
