EESA Feb. 26, 2012 Multigun Polar Match UPDATE FEB 07

You won't need a sling at the EESA match....other than that, dress up however you like!

I will say though....shoulder and ankle holsters are out!

Colt45gunner.
That's an awesome picture and all but if you're gonna wear the ankle holster and tactical wife-beater to the match, I'm not car pooling with you.
LOL
I can just picture getting pulled over for a speeding ticket or something and before we know it, we'll be examining the rifling of an ERT's AR.

Just curious, what's strapped to your right knee?

The photo was posted by "popurheadoff" at a zombie match out by Pembroke area...he made mistake on the ankle one. It's a Colt Mustang .380

Com'on guys, let me wear my wifer beater/pitola packing shirt !!
I'll keep that gun unloaded...... chamber, that is
Not unsafe if we start pistola stage "unloaded" so the draw is safe and then load up...:D .....uh, then unload completely (like we did at colby) then re-holster it....

to confirm, holsters, CR holsters are not allowed ? they kinda cover the trigger guard.. or need one covers it and more ?

Pauls,
just noticed you asked about the right knee, not anke..
It's drop leg system I modified from a drop leg holster, which I didn't really like..so set it up for my AR Mags.
I shoot lefty for my long guns, so being on right side is good for me... they flop around in that set up, but always there when I reach down...come out easy.

but have the 10 rnd mags now, so don't use that set up much anymore. use chest rig pouches for these ones.. in the drop system, they're too low and being short mags they'd fit too deep into pouch and hard to grip and pull out...

I'll bring some of the extra gear I have. Maybe something will work for you or another and can buy it... for premium... I mean for discount.....

I am looking forward to the match. I have one question, Is Russian surplus ammo allowed? I know we are shooting outdoors, I was just thinking about any steel targets. I apologize if the answer is posted somewhere else.

Thanks

Good question btw! There is more and more steel core ammo becoming available, so this is going to be a bigger issue...lots of AP Surplus in the US right now!

For most of the match, surplus will be fine....there are a couple of targets that steel core ammo will not be able to be shot at...they will be on one stage, so if you have 10 or so soft points to use on them, it would be a good idea!

So you're saying that if I wish to test the AP-ness of my AP ammo, all it will cost me is a replacement target and a DQ?

Sounds good as I have been dying to find out how capable my ammo is of P-ing some A.

Just make sure to point out which are your newest targets please.

The mgm targets are around $150....we will make sure they are on your first stage, so we can dq you on the first shot or so...
