What quick work a dozer makes on a range project.

I hope to have the inspection next week with the range operational for the June 30th shotgun match.

Looks sweet - I'm sure it will be well broken in that weekend!!

Any chance it could be of use by the open house??

lonedrone

I hope to have the inspection by then but it will not be operational during open house as the certificate will not be in by then.
Not to mention that range will not be usable when trap is in operation.

John,
Would you reconsider making some outdoor, higher round count matches?
Rules have changed, you have most likely best range in Ontario.
I am asking only, not being sarcastic if someone wants to read into it.

We are indeed planning a "SUPER" level II match for October. Just need to nail down a date.

And yes the deicision to hold that match is a direct reflection of the new match policy from IPSC Ontario which deserves accolades.

We would have done it sooner but our shooting calendars are pretty full.

Yep....I have a 10 or 12 stages, 200 or so round count, lvl 2 already on "paper"....want to get some input from other club members, also would like to see submissions for critiquing from club members......John and I discussed a big lvl 2 match when it was announced that the stage submission requirement was no long necessary for lvl 2 matches. We want to reflect our gratitude by hosting a large match, and also want to showcase some innovative stage design....I have had some of my stages critiqued by a well respected shooter in the area, to reflect my commitment to bringing quality stages to our IPSC shooting peers!

Sounds great !! In October ? great weather for outdoor match.. not hot & not too cold, just comfortable..
Personally hoping for early October, as I and possibly others who'd love to attend may be on a Moose hunt in mid to late October...
Looking forward to it and personally don't care if it's a level 3 or 2 or 1, or even if it's sanctioned or not... If it's multiple great stages with high rnd count.. I'm good to go :D:rockOn:w:h::rockOn::D

I wonder, if stages are that great and innovative, why aren't you do simple formalities and run a Level III match (recommended 12 stages and 150 rounds) and allow your competitors and ROs get international recognition they deserve?

Deserve??????Really?????
Are you sure that is the language you want to use?

Myself,
I rather have quality LII match from EESA then match called level iii for sake of the name. Craig, I never was disappointed driving 2.5hrs to your range. You have great place, good matches and now new building.

If you need a stage, let me know if you need it, perhaps I can come with something crazzzy.

As usual Eugene....you have completely missed the point. They would deserve the recognition if it were in fact going to be a lvl 3.....but....and here is the important part....we don't feel like jumping through the lvl 3 hoops....that is our perogitive! If RO's don't want to work the match, because they are not getting an additional point, I would suggest they don't come to work it, purely their choice. Any shooters that feel they are being ripped off, are more than welcome to not attend as well! Maybe you are one of those who doesnt want to attend?????

Thanks for the offer Peter! If you want to send a stage, we would be more than happy to look at it. Could use a few medium cof and some different ideas for speed shoots!

Are you suggesting that your ROs don't deserve international recognition?

It is all about balance Euxx.

Something you seem to know little of it would seem.

A Level III match to be done right would require that several members of EESA take a week off of work to organize and build the stages.

To what end?

What incentive is there to do that?

To send more money to the likes of Vince and Nick?

I think not!

When there is JUSTICE and FAIRNESS from IPSC at a World level then maybe we can talk.

If there is a requirement for LIII Status like a Provincials or a Nationals..........then there is indeed logic and it might be considered.

Would you rather we just knock it back to a Level II? Say 6 stages? Would that make you happy?

(do not have any illusions however the I have any intent on doing anything to make you happy, it was just an idle question.)
