Our good friends from East Elgin are throwing fantastic match on Sept.26-27. It is level II, but I will call more like Level II + ;).
Storm open up squads for up to 12 shooters, also, have I mentioned that all money are going to very noble cause.

See You there

Does anyone know a good motel near EESA? I don't like the idea of getting up too early on Sunday...

country side in is a mom and pop type old school motel.

It is only 4 minutes from EESA.

We will be putting the finishing touches on the props this weekend.

All proceeds..........as in 100% will be donated to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation.

As an added bonus we have set it up so that the match is actually FREE to shoot!! However it is limited to only those who have donated at least $50 to the CBCF. This means that everyone who shoots gets a tax reciept!! The Canadian Revenue agency makes the rules.....................we just find ways to skirt them.

Good on you and the EESA for helping both shooters and the CBCF at the same time.

Just got back in from the setup and Workers and RO's shooting day. I think everyone will quite enjoy the match, some very fun stages. Bring your knee and elbow protection if you got it, LOL. We started a trend with the Rifle and Shotgun portions of the 3 Gun Grand Tourney....so would be remiss in not continuing with the theme:wave: Some people like to go prone even when it not required, LOL.......some are just more gung-ho I guess;)

Just three more stages were left to set up in the indoor range when I left.......should be a very fun shoot.

we finished the setup last night at around 11 pm.

I am a little miffed with the number of last minute cancellations and no shows today.
It looks like we will fall well short of the donation to breast cancer I had hoped for.

Ouch, cancellations... Is it still going to be a classifier in production division?

Come on guys,
this is last big outdoor match.
Well I think it might be the last "big" EESA match that is not prepaid.............

The weather is going to be good.

I am trying to find a goat at the moment to sacrifice. But around these parts finding a virgin quote is harder than one might think.

We are still looking good come on down......................

BTW we can take walk on's tomorrow if you are thinking of coming out.

EESA wows

Stormbringer,

Funny you mention perpaid, I have been thinking about that and think that really might be the way to go. This is a different subject all together but I think your onto something.

Anyways, hope all you guys had fun!

Greg

IPSC matches dot net includes a prepaid function. It makes it really easy to utilize I just did not bother as this was only a level II match. But from now on I think that for events such as this (charity matches) I will always implement it so I can make sure to hit the estimates that I give the the charity in advance.

It is a tad shameful to tell people one week that you have a "sell out" event only to have cancellations mere days or hours before the match.

Stats are going in nicely.

Here is a pic of my favorite stage
