Egyptian Rasheed 7.62X39

You are one lucky fellow. I sold a 52/57 15 years ago and bought one a few months ago Paid 3 times as much for what I sold it. The Rasheed is on a want list. They carry a hefty price. They sold those guns back in the 90's for around 350 at a place called Century arms. Wish I would have got two of them. Nice collection and congrats on your new gun
Well my search is over, Found a Rasheed to go with my Vz52/57
Jean from P.S Militaria came thru and found one for me....
Just wanted to express my happiness.... My 7.62X39 collection of rifles is now almost complete.... Thanks to Kevan and Walther_PPK for showing me cool guns....
So the only thing i'm missing is an SKS-d and a VZ858

Are you going to try to collect the major variants of SKS or are you happy with the ones you have? The reason I am asking is the SKS 59/66 is a pretty unique variant that would be neat to add into the collection there.
Just an SKS-D and my Russian SKS.... I dont really like the SKS. So I dont see the point of having a dozen of them.... lol....
After Firing the Vz52/57 the SKS becomes very low on the priority list.... The Vz by far my favorite rifle as far as the firing impulse goes.... never experienced anything quite like it...

I've seen them listed for $700 - $900 or so. There was one that just sold on the EE and it was listed at $750. Didn't last long! I need one at some point as well to complete the hat-trick of the Ljungman, Hakim, Rashid.

One of the elderly members of my hunt camp donated a Rasheed to us as a camp "fun gun" (my uncle is its keeper). Interesting gun and fun to shoot.
She is not in as nice of a shape than I would of liked.... But with only 8000 made beggars can't be choosers...

Very interesting rifle, and in better shape than the ones I saw.
But one thing you should know about your picture:
It is an unwritten rule, or call it a standard, to show your naked feet in the pictures, no shoes allowed
