It's an SKS, it's not like it's devalued in any way, and is probably just as if not more accurate.

Sadly, not only was that not the case, but i had to pay over $200 for the job.

The guy that did the work tried some other ways before, but it kept failing to hold zero. I got tired of trying over and over again and just told him to weld it and make sure it holds zero.

Can I suggest taking it the action out of the stock and filing the, uh, '"weld" smooth? Smooth-ish? There's gotta be a way to make it look better than that....
