How is the shell deflection on the stag 10 vs the bcl. On my bcl every so often I get a round in the cheek. I noticed the deflector on the bcl is pretty shallow.
The stag10 looks better but just want to be sure as I’m debating between the left hand version or the right hand version in stripped sets with lpk.
But the left version is double the price as it has the bcg etc...so wondering if I can get away with the right hand receiver set.

I shoot a right hand Stag 10 as a lefty. There is no problem with mine ejecting and hitting me in the face. But I built mine from an upper and lower kit so chose my parts carefully. Adjustable gas block, JP captured spring make controlling ejection easy. I’m not so sure of factory built rifles. I didn’t want to buy a lefty version because I wanted better parts interchange if something needed to be repaired or replaced. I had a BCL 102 for a while. It wasn’t quite as good at ejecting brass away from me. Or anything else for that matter.
