Ejection problem in CX4 Storm

I just got a .40 CX4 Storm cleaned it and took it to the range. I put about 120 factory rds through it, took it home and cleaned it. 7 days later I went back to the range and every round I shot I had a stoppage ( same ammo as before, even the same box ). The spent casing always got caught up in the chamber and caused a double feed type of idea. I cleaned the bolt face and ejection thingy on the spot and the gun kept jamming. I have never seen this happen so many times in row ( 20 ) in any gun. Even the wonderful C7, C9 and C6 our military uses never jammed like this.
I have since cleaned and scraped the bolt face to see if there was any carbon residue but found nothing. Any ideas?

i happen to have the exact same gun, and never had a problem with it..however i may have some ideas

the cx4 can be modified to shoot both left and right handed in a matter of minutes...what i think u may have done is switched the two pieces on the bolt that determine which side the round is ejected. to check this, remove the plastic grate off of the bolt so that the round can eject out of both sides...shoot it, and see which way the casing flies. what i think is happening is that say ur shooting right handed, but the bolt is set up to eject out of the left side of the gun, so the case hits the grate and gets stuck.

let me know if this works for ya...it seems that u may have just re-assembled the gun wrong...its no doubt a fun piece of kit though!

cheers

Check the extractor... 'Same thing happened with my 9mm cx4.
The extractor was either worn or the "claw" was broken off.
The new one I bought appears to be more robust... 'Gets a better purchase on the case rim...
'Took 1 min. to switch out and haven't had a problem since.

I have the .40 as well with no issues at all, even with various brands of ammo.

As mentioned above, there are some parts that get out of place pretty easy without noticing it.

Good luck.

Okay I feel pretty damn stupid. Note to self........assemble gun correctly. Place the ejector on the opposite side of where you want the casing to eject. Thanks everyone for your help and feed back.
