Well, I need one because the gun I got is missing it. When I brake the action, ejector doesn't pop. I examined it and the cam and the pin holding it in place are missing. I don't imagine that I could buy an original part for a little known, 60+ year shotgun. I know that it's not going to be much different than on most shotguns this days. I can fabricate one but it's going to be fun getting it just right to make it work just right. On an off chance, I'm hoping that someone here has a gun like that and is helpful enough to remove it, put it flat on a ruler and take a photo. That would help a lot...

Good job. Best route to follow in the situation. A very knowledgeable double man told me that when buying older doubles often from obscure makers he leaned toward extractors. Said ejectors were great but can be very expensive to fix.

This one was a gift from dear friends. They had no clue that anything was wrong with the gun. As it was very precious to me, I just had to put it into a perfect working condition. I could not allow it to be a wall hanger. It won't be. As for the expense... roughly 4 hours of experimenting, and an hour of actual work. It would be very expensive if done by a gunsmith and rightfully so. I'm not a gunsmith. I'm just a man with better than average technical skills and access to the right tools.

Good. Old guns deserve to go hunting too. As an aside I've seen a few that claimed to be a gunsmith and completely lacked the skill set required.
Thanks. Even with my extensive experience and knowledge in mechanical engineering, machining and fabrication, I will never claim to be a gunsmith. That requires a very specific knowledge skills.
Aside from that, I've fixed more tha one gun. I've seen and taken apart many. It's the very first one where I was trully amazed by precision of manufacturing.
