Lady at work has two of these. One blue and one blued with silver inlay. Any ball park figure on value for insurance?

They seem to go for around $250-300 at the auctions. They're not really a high end item.

The ones I've seen give the impression of being cheap guns. Not low priced, but cheap.
For some reason they seem to sell for more than they are worth.

They were made by Ugartechea in Spain, not one of the bottom shelf manufacturers, they were only imported here, with the lone exception of one order of 43 that went to an Australian mining company as a bonus one year. They typically will fetch up $300 in excellent condition. My father had one which I in turn now have, it still puts at least one bird in the freezer every season, and for the record I've never seen my father miss with that gun.

There was a store close to home that sold them for $50.00 new back in the late 1960"s.
