Specter OZ™ sighting system is comprised of two subsystems: an optimized Combat Scope with a 5x-20x variable zoom magnification and an integrated and enclosed CQB 1x unity sight. This system provides the perfect solution for close quarters target engagement, while enhancing long-range target engagement and observation capabilities. Each of the two subsystems can be used as stand-alone devices or integrated onto the host weapon system.

The Specter OZ™ sighting system boasts a 1x unity power CQB (2MOA) capability combined with a long-range engagement capability via a 5-20x magnification scope with tactile adjustments for targets beyond 1,000m. The first focal plane reticle employs an integrated rangefinder, reticle-based magnification indicator and a graduated targeting grid for precision optical shot correction.

Looks pretty compact for a 5-20x... I will report on it if they have it at SHOT.

Spoke to Armament Technology today and unless you are placing an order for a 1000 units, it's currently only vapour wear and even then I would imagine it would cost $5000++

Wow those are some sweet looking optics. I can only imagine the cost, but these look more light weight than the DR for what if offers. If there are any pre-orders somewhere on this, may be the only high end optic I buy.

Well, if there are pictures, there is a prototype and they will likely be trying to market it at SHOT. So, I will drop by their booth and see if they have it.

Not necessarily so, could just be some good cad work

But it does look prett nice and prolly lotsa bucks

I work with CAD every day, that is not a CAD rendering.

The prototype (I'm assuming maybe a non functioning 3D printed), could you let us know?

I wish I could join you but if you would please ask them a couple questions.

1) the article stated the top (like a a Trijicon RMR) and bottom are separate, it is the bottom 5-20 (I'm assuming) people would be more interested in. Is it designed and do they have tooling to build it?

2) Assuming yes, who was it designed for or is it just a concept piece?

3) if it was designed for someone would it be possible to increase that production run?

4) if not what kind of a volume and price commitment would they need to produce it?

5) Does anyone at Elcan need a kidney/lung or blood transfusion. 8)

Thank for looking into this! I heard there are so many booths this year that to get to each of them in the 4 days you would have 13 seconds at each. Sounds like heaven!

The problem is not paying, it's more waiting for so long, you loose faith ever having it in your hands... JP.
