I am looking online and found a fairly good deal on one (60$, as opposed to the 120$-200$ I have been seeing them at) that I want to use on my 715T (I like the look of it).

I have been reading online and it appears to be well made (for a clone). I was wondering if the recoil from a .223 would shake it apart, for anyone with any experience with it.

From what I read online, the mechanism to zero this optic isn't an internal mechanical movement, but rather adjusting for windage is done by moving the entire optic itself. I believe that should help from shaking the internals out of place.

I like the 4x zoom feature it has, and was thinking of slapping it on my Tavor from time to time, until I can muster up the funds for something the Tavor actually deserves.

Thoughts? Will I destroy it on the Tavor? It seems fairly heavy duty.

I think you would be better off buying just about anything else then a knock off. The iron sights on the 715t would be better than this. If money is an object then I would go with a decent scope with less features like a fixed 2X scope then a knock off with a lot of features.

I once bought a knockoff aimpoint and even on a 22 it was not suitable. Every shot the dot would flip on or off.

If you want a Spectre, buy a real one and never worry about it.
Knock of optics usually end up being a complete waste of money, you buy it, it breaks, and the resale is generally worth zero if it doesn't break.

I will be the black sheep and say try it out. I would also be curious about trying one of these to so can see if I would like the system and consider dropping 2000 on a real one. $60 is not bad to see if you would like it. You can always sell it for that to some airsofter on Facebook. Most your gambling is 60 who cares, if you can afford a tavor wrecking a $60 optic is not going to break you. Worst case it makes a fun target if 223 recoil destroys it (which I doubt) it's not going to be like the real thing but it also 20 times less.

That's kind of what I was thinking. And it's because of the damn Tavor that I won't be able to afford the real thing until at least the fall. ;)

Meh, just facebook messaged a friend who plays airsoft. He's willing to take it off my hands for 50$ if I don't like it. I'm willing to part with 10$ to satisfy my curiosity.

At the very least, it may be ok on my .22LR. I had a knock off EoTECH that has worked pretty good so far. No real recoil on the rifle.

I had my finger on the buy now button many times already on that exact scope. Something tells me I will be disappointed with it. I bought a scope on aliexpress and the mount is the best part. Although it look like a real scope it didnt stand up to my 308 at all. The reticule is tilted within a few shots and its not that acurate. Its probably fine for a airsoft gun, but anything with recoil will probably damage it. If you do buy one let us know how it works out.

+1. I would also roll the dice on this one for $60. A friend plays airsoft so worst case it will be gifted to him :D

Ya I think a 308 may be pushing it for a knock off. I'll be testing it on 223 (my Tavor). Ordered it. Should arrive in 15-30 days. I'll let you know how it goes. Like I said, worst case, I have an airsoft friend willing to take it off my hands for 50$

@ SteelCap, replied.
