Good luck with the 143. Haven't seen any for a while. Last box I had was sold literally in seconds!

P&D shows that they've got the 6.5 143's, and they have 308 178 grain eld-m, but not eld-x.

I'm friends with a hornady vender and he was mailed a letter stating that they weren't really interested in dealing with him if he didn't start doubling his sales/orders and he sells lots.

I’ll check Monday but last time I was at my local store he had dozens of boxes of 143 and 178.

Guess they didn't last long. I waited too long on some Barnes 145 match burners that disappeared right away too. Seems like you have to always ready to pounce when something's in stock, especially if it's a decent price.

I can't seem to find anything in .264 worthy of target shooting either. 140gr ELDM, 143 ELDX, Berger .264 anything... I'm starting to run low and am going to be in trouble soon. Anyone know what's happening out there??? Where is all the 6.5 stuff?

The "good stuff" doesn't seem to get exported in much quantity. Huge demand in USA, the product just gets swallowed up before it builds up to the point where export seems like a good idea

If the didn't learn from the last shortage... Or the one before that...

I've only been into guns for 7-8 years. In that time I believe this is the 3rd shortage I've seen. Every few years there's another reason for the Muricans to horde.

I know they are not ELDX but the Lapua scenar shoot nice 136 or 139. Easier to come by.

Barnes Match Burner and Nosler RDF too, if you're target shooting

Sierra Tipped Gameking are a bit more robust than an ELDx, also very accurate

I may have to start looking at those brands for my 6.5, I've been Berger and Hornady exclusive for a long time. May have to go through load development all over again. All the good stuff seems to be still available in 30cal.... maybe an excuse for a new build...

Thanks guys, I was able to find some 178g but nothing for the 143g I might have to look for something else
