ELD-X load data

I couldn't find the data on there website so I just used data from a similar bullet out of the hornady reloading book. I looked at the difference in load data for a few different eld-x and they were all identical to the similar bullet in the reloading guide.

im using 67grns of 4831sc in nos brass with a fed 210 primer seated .010 off the lands with the 162grn ELD-X in my 7rm, observed volocity is 3040fps and bulletholes are touching in the .6 of an inch area
this load is HOT
hodgdon calls for 55grn min/58grn MAX using H4831 with a 175 seated @ 3.29OAL and a mag primer
i found swapping to 210's over 215's helped level out my ES... but needed to add powder to get FPS/pressure back up
and seating your rounds longer, IE closer to the lands requires more powder to once again make up for lost pressure....
im not TELLING you this is something to try... its what i have tried and its worked in my particular rifle
some guys like to tinker and see what their rifles are capable of... some dont stray from the books much.
^this is a deep dark subject and i will probably be labeled an idiot for it.

Nosler is a little more generous then Hodgdon...they list 60gr max with the 175, and 63gr max with the 168.
I'd start at 56gr and approach 62gr as a max with the 175's seated to just fit in the mag, look for pressure and use a chrony.
