Election Over Can The SCAR FRT Be Released?

I've already got my SCAR. It lives as pictures in my cell phone.

On a more serious note, I think that we should see some progress with respect to some of the action "WE" have taken.

I emailed Scott at Questar and there is no update. Its really becoming a PIA not knowing what the problem is. If I was told that buddy at the RCMP didn't like the rifle, or was out to protect us from ourselves, or that the RCMP had knowledge through a Nostradamus prophecy that the SCAR will be the undoing of mankind, at this point I might believe it? at least that would be something??

There should be an unbiased committee dealing with all these issues. With representatives from all stakeholders on it.(Including firearms owners and retailers)

I would bet that the election will slow things down even more. It is obvious that the RCMP do not want more semi autos out there especially if they are not to be registered.

I can understand somewhat of a "wait" if they(RCMP) came back and said; we need more people, more money? too much work we can't hire people there's a freeze on,we were told to delay the process, we are "dotting the "I's" and crossing the "T's" because we f**ked up in the past,we don't think we should have to do this privatize it?

But alas the "classification" section is a "black hole" firearms go in and nothing comes out.

Good question? Questar isn't very forthcoming with info?
I was also wondering if they had hired a lawyer?
I'm not in the private discussion anymore so I can't confirm that statement.

+1. Now that it is clear the LGR will be going and their masters will be the CPC for the next 4 years, I would guess more foot dragging and stalling than ever on the part of the RCMP.

Well the lab was banking on a Liberal majority so no need to work. Now they must be sweating.

Deckard, I really believe they don't care who forms the government. They are working from their own agenda and will continue to do so until they are forced to change. Many of these things could have been done over the last five years. We should be demanding answers as to why they haven't been.

Be afraid of the legislation that the cons come up with to repeal the LGR. My feelings are that there will be pieces in it that we won't be happy with. I hope I'm wrong.

Sorry to derail. The scar saga is beginning to read a little like the T97 fiasco.
