Electroless nickel plating ?

I would like to get a shotgun barrel nickel plated.

Who in Canada does a nice job on electroless nickel plating on firearms parts or on a whole shotgun?

Chrome shop on the south side of Edmonton has done a few pieces for me in the past. Been a while, I don't know if they're still there. Between 103 and 104 st, just north of Argyle. I dont remember the name, sorry. - dan

You can get plating kits from west ward I think it was . They are well known for thier car restoration tools .

Caswell plating supply. They sell electroless nickel kits. Www.caswellplating.com, and www.caswellcanada.com, IIRC.

They have videos on site too.

I would not expect to find a smith that does plating seeing - you would probably be better off just looking for a plating company, I would guess it would be cheaper anyway.

Also as mentioned you can do it yourself it is very easy, the kits are expensive, but you can cobble together your own setup for under $100

Candian Gunworx near Toronto does it. They also do nickel boron if you want the same look in something even tougher.
