I have used the search function.
It seems that the selections of choice are (in no particular order):
RCBS
Acculab
PACT

Varying commentary and reviews for each.
Purpose: rifle loads(.223/.308) for precision shooting up to 1,000M
I would like to buy once with potential to upgrade with a powder dispenser.

Recommendations would be appreciated.

I like the RCBS reloading products and have always had good results with them. In addition I've found RCBS people to be exceedingly helpful on any questions that arise or possible problems.
A short while ago, I started upgrading all my reloading equipment and RCBS is the dominant brand, the one exception being a Lyman Universal Case Trimmer. I've been using my RCBS Rockchucker Supreme press for a while and yesterday used my Sidewinder Case Tumbler for the first time. I upgraded my powder measure and scale to an RCBS ChargeMaster Combo as this unit does both functions +. I must admit I haven't used it yet but plan to do so on my next batch of reloads.

I bought a RCBS 1500 scale in the states 2 years ago. Then later that year I got the powder dispencer at Russel Sports in Calgary. Best investment I ever made. Use both on a regular basis. Don't think you can go wrong with RCBS products.....Ken

If you want one to eventually go to a full dispenser system then go with RCBS

If you are just looking for a scale, the Acculab scales are at the bottom end of the scientific grade scales, and well above the RCBS and Pact scales, but then again, it is reflected in the Acculab price.

You can get an Acculab with 0.001g (0.015gr) accuracy from the US for about $230 and one with 0.01g (0.15gr) accuracy for about $160

Both Pact and RCBS scales are 0.1gr accuracy

I have the Lyman 1200 and it works fantastic. The ability to seat bullets while still dispensing powder is such a time saver. There is a 30 minute warm up time , but you can bypass this by using a manual calibration that takes all of 30 seconds. It has been as accurate as my RCBS and Dillon beam scales. It dispenses one charge in about 20 seconds. Not as fast as the RCBS Chargemaster, but its $200 less.
