Electronic Sights Suggestions?

Anyone have any good or bad experiences with electonic sights for IPSC competition? I am just getting into it and as my CZ-75B SA kicks me out of Production class due to the SA trigger, so I was thinking of investing in an electronic sight to try to stay competitive !

I have seen a number of them advertised and they range from $89 to $499 - there are obviously some advantages and drawbacks to each end of the price spectrum.

Also, the mounts ( save for the Aimtech) seem to be almost entirely of the screw in type requireing gunsmithing. Comments on the pros and cons of each?

Keep in mind that the Red Dot will put you in Open. You won't be as competative without a comp (but you'll have just as much fun)

I'd look at a C-More (frame mounted) or a Doctor (slide mounted)

...or you could shoot your gun as is in Standard Division.

if i was shooting a CZ, i would put a fibre optic front sight on it and as big of a notch site as i good find on the rear and then follow Quigly's advice and shoot standard.

I would shoot standard. Because your going to find the dot useless because the gun be jumping all over the place, also what holster are you using?

If you get a cmore or aimtech mount w/ dot, your gun might not fit in the current holster.
