I've got a request in for our gov't to legalize these here in the NWT. At present only mouth calls are legal. They've just come back and said their research shows that electronic calls are only legal in a couple of states, and nowhere in Canada. I'd like to dispute that and need a helping hand from anyone in the provinces that allow the electronic calls for varmint hunting like coyotes, wolves, etc.

Thanks

They are legal here is Saskatchewan for varmints, deer, moose, elk, etc. The only things you can't use them for are migratory birds, except snow geese. The buggers lied to you.

They are legal in Newfoundland and Labrador, and I am not aware of any American states where they are not. (If there any such states, I expect they are very few).

Im really not sure where they are illegal in Canada just certain species as mentioned above.

They seem to be used quite a bit in the states and more than a couple. take a look at some of the Predator hunting sites. Wildlifecallers .com has several blogs and stories about hunters using callers in the states, lots more sites to visit.
