Why would you gut it? The meat is on the outside. Usually 3 hours will take care of it.

I was thinking about that. I hope the MNR will sell tags over the counter at least for the first few seasons. After that I will concentrate on hunting sabertooth anyway.

I have particpated in the cutting up of a couple African elephants. You take the skin off the top side in three panels, bone out that side, then flip it over and repeat. Three guys cutting is about right, the more help you have the slower it gets.
