Can be. Depends what your particular gun likes. I had a S&W 41 that shot CCI standard & green tag better than Eley Club or Match Pistol. My Hammerli 208’s preference is Lapua Centre-X. A guy I shoot with uses Eley Club as practice ammo in his Pardini.

Rimfire ammo preference is always a crap-shoot. The sample packs are a great way to roughly test which ammo your gun prefers.
