Elite 1A holster ?

What holster are you using for your Elite 1A ? I checked my usual sources but they don't offer anything without a top retension strap.

why are you looking for a holster with a retention strap? I use a Langdon Tactical holster (no longer available) or a Ghost with my Elite II, both work with the Elite 1A

I do not want a retension strap but can only find hosters that do have straps. Sorry if the syntax in my original post was misleading or unclear.
 
get that Safariland one you and Warren have but for the Beretta Vertec (same frame).

Well, almost a month later and after getting screwed on shipping and screwed again by Canada Customs I am the proud owner of a Safariland 5183 that does NOT fit a Brigadier slide.
 
ahhhhh what? are you kidding? the 5183 is supposed to fit the Brig slided guns!!! Safariland said so when I called them months ago!
 
Hmmm, it may be my own stupidity to blame. I know that a Vertec fits the Langdon holster which is marked as "92F" and which appears to be a modified Safariland so one might assume that a Safariland marked for 92/96 would also work, but upon closer examination it appears that it is the rail, not the Brig slide causing the problem. Of course Safariland doesn't make a 5183/5186 to fit a Vertec. I will put a wanted ad for a Langdon holster on Berettaforum and sell the Safariland. :(
 
try a Wilson Tactical Assault for the Vertec/Elite series, it's identical to the Langdon apparently. only difference is the belt attachment.
