elite 3000

I am looking to sell to a friend my old but in very good cond. Bausch&Lomb Elite 3000. Not wanting to rip off my friend or myself, what do these scopes go for? Its my understanding that this model was one of the last that Bushnell was partners with Bausch and Lomb.

Any info would be appreciated.

150 - 175 is what a used B&L 3000 sells for on eBay. If I was to sell one I wouldn't let t go for less than that.

They are awesome scopes. The Baush & Lombe name alone set them apart from other mid price range optics. Given the merger with Bushnell and ultimately the discontinued line, they didn't retain their value.

Expect $100 - $150 max. You would not be doing your buddy any disservice

Elite 3000

Boys just so you know B&L never made Elites. Bushnell paid them a royalty to use the name. The true B&L products were called Balvar. FS

Thanks for pointing that out. Most people don't realize that the optics industry is full of this sort of thing. Bushnell paid for the use of the Baush and Lomb name and the scopes were made by yet another concern. As you probably know, Bushnell doesn't even make it's own scopes.
