Elite 6500 vs Leupold

I own a 6500 Elite Tactical 2.5-16x42.


Nice scope, BUT, I'm often within spitting distance of the Bushnell headquarters driving for work (and from what I hear, they give on the spot exchanges for such high-end scopes). So the warranty service was a non-issue for me, and I didn't have an extra $400 to spend.

If you have to ship it in, do expect a very long turn-around.

Forget the 6500 ,like looking through a coke bottle on high power.................

A lot of long range shooters that dont have the big bucks are buying Sightron s111 as they have very clear optics, repeatable adjustments and are very dependable, reticle options are limited however they do have a 30 mm tube.

In the land of the blind the SIGHTRON is king!!!

I do hear they are very nice. Talked to Mystic Player about them. He's quite impressed with them. Ony bummer is I dont think they come in 30mil tubes.
