Elite Sig #### !

SRT= Short Reset Trigger.

Supposed to be a 60% shorter reset. Another CGNer was saying he didnt think he noticed much defference on his 229 Elite. I havnt tried mine yet.

How about you swap me those pretty wooden grips for the black plastic ones on my 226 Stainless? Sig did the "Canada???" thing when I tried to order some of the premium ones from them.

Very nice!!! the P220 Elite Stainless is on my short list. I'm going to import it through Buffalo Gun Center and not wait... I asked the dealers here and nobody sounded like they could get it for me?!

thats a great gun shop, went there with my wife, they let me hold anything i wanted, they had a great price on cci blazers .22 also:D

Got to give us a range report after your fire the Elite... if your don't mind, how much did you pay (out the door) I'm really interested in one... please give more feedback on the beaver tail too after you tried her out...
My local gun shop has one on order and I told them to call me as soon as it comes in... It is a little pricey but it is one SWEET looking pistol

Great pistols, I love mine (P226 9mm). I originally wanted it in .40 S&W but Shooting Edge didn't have any at the time and I have to be honest, I got a little impatient.. Oops. Worked out better in the end because my bro's Walther P1 shoots 9mm as well so we can share ammo, and since I have slight carpel tunnel syndrome in my right wrist its definitely easier on me. Its merely for range plinking so its also a cheaper calibre. I bought mine for $750 no PST (refurbished), I thought I did alright.

The only thing I want to change with it is redo the grips, rubberized with a slightly heavier build-up around the mag release. I like the feel of rubber grips and my thumb's a little long (maybe just my lazy stance) but I have to be very careful when shooting rapidly that I don't accident release the mag (makes a person look very goofy at the range..). I don't have any fingers on my left hand so my shooting style is a slightly modified single handed style, while using my left hand to merely sturdy the firearm.

Great buy on the 226, I was looking at them and liked them a lot but couldn't afford one or else thats what I'd be shooting since it kinda matches my dad's Kimber Stainless II. LR

I actually found the wood grips quite comfortable and easy to hang on to, My Gould & Goodrich holster almost matches them, funny my wife approves of me buying and carrying it around the house because it looks nice. Female logic at work.....
