I may have an oppertunity to go for elk if I get drawn this fall. Anyhow What would it cost to have a shoulder mound made of Elk?

You can figure on $700 to $900 and that depends if you require removeable antlers to get the mount in and out of your house.My last mount cost me $850 with two removeable antlers,but that was a few years ago.
 
I would count on at least $1500 and hope for $1000 for a quality job and definatley get the antlers pinned so they are removable they are much to large an animal to manover with the antlers in tact.
 
okay so it's gonna cost a shiiiit load I better start saving up the penny's.

Doing some online checking,it appears that prices have gone up a bit in the last few years.The prices seem to start at around $900 and go up from there depending on options such as removeable antlers.
