Everytime I order something from Epps and it is sent out through Canada post I get the same BS from Canada Post.

Expected Delivery : 2011/09/21
Updated Delivery : 2011/09/22
Delivery date changed : Item was received by Canada Post at a different location than expected

WTF?

I live 3 hours from Epps, and technically should be getting this package on the 21st.

It was at the CP depot where my deliveries come from as of 2am yesterday so it should technically have gone out later yesterday morning, but because of the BS with where it was received they have it sitting in the depot till the next day.

Most of the #####ing we do is directed at Canada Post, but in this case it is clearly some BS to do with Ellwood Epps.

Why not have this addressed and save your customers a day of shipping?

It looks to me like they do it online, then drop it off somewhere... just the way it works!

I got something on the 19th that was supposed to be here on the 16th, it happens, just have to live with it.

Want it sooner, order it sooner or drive there.

the post office that handles epps is completely full of retards. All five times I have ordered from EPPS the post office has sent the parcel all over creation before getting to my house. The people at EPPS are great the canada post people at the local depot are clearly stupid.

Well my package that was supposed to arrive today is still not here.

It has been in the depot since 2am yesterday so thats about 40 hrs of not even moving according to their tracking system. WTF?

All this for a package to move 250 km, that I could drive in 3 hrs.

Another Canada Post Fail!!!

So the question is now that the package isn't delivered on time, and Epps can be refunded for the shipping, will they credit me back?

I know I'm just being impatient but I have now wasted my whole day based on these retards delivery date!

they have CP software that prints out the labels then at noon every day the CP guy comes and picks up all the ship outs. so if you order something say Monday at 2pm, it will say it has a shipping date of the Monday but wont be picked up until noon Tuesday.

once it leaves Epps hands there is nothing they can do about when it arrives it is all under CP's hands then.

not sure how people can think it is epps fault a package that leaves the day or day after you order it doesent get there on time. once it leaves the hands of the employee's at epps they have 0 control over what happens to it.

as for refund, maybe you should call and ask instead of posting on the general forum seeming to blame them for the delay.

Canada Post tracking is a joke. I dropped off a package at a "real" postal facility (not an agent) on the 12th of September, didn't show up on the tracking until the 18th of September...un-fu****g believable...it's still not delivered and today I get this: "Canada Post processing error; item re-routed. Possible delay"

Canada Post's tracking number ( that's what they call it) is only a tracking number untill something is lost. Then they tell you it is not a tracking number, it is only a delivery confirmation number.

It has been this way every delivery I have ever had.

Did you guys even read this part?

For some reason the CP system always says that the packages were picked up at a different location then specified or whatever.

This automatically allows CP to delay your package a day!

I have a feeling it is because the 2 locations share the same shipping account and it is based out of the fishing store rather than the hunting store, but I am not sure.

Just seems a little silly.

Like I said I am just pissed and impatient, but there is something a miss with the way Epps is shipping, that is a fact.

I don't really care how long it takes, but when it says that today is the expected delivery, and I know the package is coming from a couple hours away, it is ridiculous that it is late.

Especially when the package is just sitting in the depot for 2 days now!

Well epps for me has always been 2 day delivery, last 2 things I've bought from them they have shipped out 3 days later and 1.5 weeks later. No canada post issues on my side, Just according to person on phone, busy at epps due to hunting season.

Very simple solution tell kevin or wes you want it in one day and they will have it send by courier to you at three times the cost of canada post.:HR: Canada Post is what it is and they are not going to change.

Plausible, but I doubt it. They've been shipping out of the main store for decades. More likely CP doesn't handle campus setups well.

I know what you mean, I ordered a package from another dealer here and CP has had it sitting in Ottawa for a few days. Not even close to a direct route from dealer to me. It only needed to travel about 350km. CP is f##ked! But on the other hand I ordered a part for my wood stove on tues and it showed up thurs and it is about the same distance away......go figure:rolleyes:

Not that it is that big of a deal but I would go back to a dealer that make sure I get my paid for product in a timely fashion and not wait for a couple weeks.

if you order guns/hunting stuff they ship from the gun store, you order fishing/camping stuff it comes from the Fishing store.

as has been said. what has epps got to do with shipping once it leaves their store? it is 100% in the hands of Canada Post. are you going to say epps is at fault if it is lost along the way ? no that's just stupid its CP's fault. same idea as blaming epps for Canada post having it sitting at a CP depot its just stupid.

If you REALLY have a problem, Stop whining here and call epps, see what they have to say. they can more than likely find out whats going on, make sure the address they have on the package is complete, and correct, etc.

Aries said it perfectly: We print the packing label directly from the Canada Post website. This includes the delivery address and tracking number. Once the item is picked up from our store (cut-off for daily pick ups is 14.00 hours), the item is in the Canada Post system and is out of our hands.

If you are having problems with delivery, please contact Canada Post first. If they cannot solve the issue, then contact Epps and we will do all that we can to correct the issue from this end.

The matter has nothing to do with staffing issues, nor with the incident that occurred here last week. This is an ongoing grief with Canada Post, that must be addressed accordingly.

As a former CP employee I can guarantee you that that they are one of the most backwards bunch of fools you will ever see. After seeing how parcels are tossed around like footballs with no regard as to whats in them, and "fragile" stickers being more of competition to see what noise it makes when it breaks I would not mail dogsh*t through them.
