Elmer Kieth's .458 for sale

.............I can see it being worth a bit due to it being Elmer Kieth's but its not like its his only gun or one of maybe a dozen. The guy probably had hundreds of guns!!!:rolleyes:

Elmer, as i understand it, was never a wealthy man. He loved his guns, and he had quite a few, but he never had the dough that OConnor did. Gun writing is not (or at least was not) a high paying job.

If I were to spend that kind of money on a rifle, I'd get Martini and Hagen to make me a family heir loom, not buy somebody's used rifle.;)

You could build a pretty nice rifle for alot less than $55,000US and still have some cash left over to take a horseback hunt in the Yukon.

Money well spent!! :)
